Getting Started with Orion
What Orion is & why you’ll use it
Orion is your all-in-one portfolio management and reporting platform. It’s a very powerful system that handles account data, billing, performance reporting, and more. Because it’s such a robust tool, we recommend starting simple and leaning on our team for guidance.
How to log in / access
- Go to: https://login.orionadvisor.com/
- Use the credentials provided by XYPN. These should be stored in your Box firm folder as a temporary password.
Your first step: Orion Learning Lab
We strongly recommend all advisors complete Orion’s Core Concepts courses. It walks you through the core features and gives you a solid foundation. To find these:
- Access your Orion Support app. You can use your search bar in Orion and enter "Support" to find it, or scroll down under the "More" section of your left-hand navigation, and Favorite the support app.
- Once in the support app, Go to Orion Learning Lab > Catalog
- Enroll in the Core Concepts courses. Recommended are:
- Client Portal
- Performance
- Reporting
Core ways you’ll use Orion
- Viewing account and performance data
- Running client reports
- Managing billing and fee calculations
- Coordinating investment workflows with the XYPN team

You don’t have to navigate Orion on your own — our dedicated XYPN Orion Team is here to help. You have three easy ways to get support:
- Email us: Send questions to support@xypnsapphire.com: we'll loop in our Orion Team as needed to get you answers.
- Set up a training: Need more depth? We can schedule a personalized Orion training session with a member of our Orion Team. Just reach out to support to facilitate.
- Join Office Hours: We feature Orion regularly in our weekly Sapphire Office Hours, where you can see demos and ask questions live.
