Financial Planning Software Available Through Sapphire

Sapphire advisors have access to a selection of financial planning platforms, allowing your practice to choose the software that best fits how you deliver financial planning to clients.

What financial planning software is available?

Your practice can select one of the following financial planning platforms:

This gives you the flexibility to choose the planning experience, methodology, and tools that best fit your clients and practice.

If you'd like to change your financial planning tool, let us know at support@xypnsapphire.com.

Does everyone in my practice need to use the same financial planning software?

Yes. Your financial planning software selection applies to your entire practice.

If your practice has multiple advisors, all advisors must use the same financial planning platform through Sapphire. For example, one advisor in a practice cannot use eMoney while another advisor in the same practice uses RightCapital.

You can still choose the tier or configuration that makes the most sense for your practice, where applicable, but the underlying planning platform must remain consistent across the firm.

Why does Sapphire require one financial planning platform per practice?

As the RIA, Sapphire is responsible for oversight of the financial planning advice delivered through the firm.

We want advisors to have meaningful flexibility in how they provide financial planning, which is why we support several different planning platforms rather than requiring every Sapphire practice to use the same system.

At the same time, each platform approaches financial planning differently and produces different calculations, assumptions, reports, and client-facing outputs. Maintaining multiple planning systems within a single practice would make it difficult for Sapphire to consistently review and oversee the financial planning work being delivered.

Having each practice use one platform allows us to provide choice while maintaining a consistent and supportable approach to financial planning oversight.

How should I choose a platform?

The right choice will depend on your practice, planning philosophy, client base, and the type of planning experience you want to deliver.

The available platforms offer different approaches and capabilities, from comprehensive cash-flow and goals-based planning to retirement-income planning and more streamlined ongoing financial planning.

We recommend reviewing the options directly with each provider before making your selection.

Can my practice change financial planning software later?

If you'd like to change your practice's financial planning software, reach out to the Sapphire team before making the change. We can help you understand the process and any considerations involved in moving your practice to a different platform.
